NHRA Division 6 - Mission, BC. Qualified #4 & #5, which meant Randy and Russ raced each other in the 1st round. Randy’s car had traction problems and Russ went on to a runner-up finish. |

NHRA Division 6 - Seattle, WA. Qualified #6 & #7. Russ went out in round 1, Randy won his 3rd NHRA event. |

NHRA Division 6 - Woodburn, OR. Qualified #6 & #8. Russ shook so hard in round 1 that it split the rear end housing open. Randy went on to a runner-up finish. |

NHRA Prolong Super Lubricants Northwest Nationals – Seattle, WA. Randy qualified #12 and lost in round 1. Russ made the field as an alternate and upset Pat Austin before losing in round 2. |
