ROBSTA 4/3/2003  - Welcome to Robsta's game room. Thanks for pushing all of those buttons on your keyboard connected to the computer to find some hot new Playstation 2 info.

I have tested oodles of controllers here in the game room, and every so often something slides through the door that is not a game-pad, but another gismo to make our PS2 gaming world easier and/or more fun. This time I have a wireless adapter from Saitek to check out, so it's time for me to 'get gaming'!!

Details FIRST IMPRESSION
The one good thing about Saitek is that they put a lot of their products in a clear plastic package so you can be impressed as soon as you see it hanging on the store wall. I couldn't wait to get this baby home, tape up the fingers, and start bustin' buttons.

LOOKS
This system looks BUCK-NUTTY once it's plugged into the PS2. Saitek has color matched the hub and receiver exactly to the black color of the PS2 console. It almost looks like it would have came with the PS2 when I bought mine.

CONSTRUCTION
The design of the wireless adapter amazed me more and more as I learned how the system worked. Every piece is built sturdy and hasn't let me down yet.

USEABILITY
There are three letters at the top of the package… W.O.W. (with out wires). Once you play games with this adapter hooked up and people just walk in front of you while you are gaming and they DO NOT trip over those irritating, over-extended, always in the way, pain in the butt cords that are usually plugged into your PS2 - you will say WOW yourself!

VALUE
Saitek has done their home work again - producing this wireless adapter for under $40. Most battery chargers alone are about $20, so this is just another read on that you should own one.

HOW LIKELY TO RECOMMEND
The Saitek WOW Adapter is a must have for anyone who has kids, or if you have a large game room and don't want cords stretching from the console of the PS2 all the way to your hands.

RECOMMENDATIONS to the Vendor

ROBSTA
The only thing that I would like to see, is a controller from Saitek that will be completely wireless.
