KOGGS 7/13/2001  - Don't like having to drag out the PS2 and the controller to use the DVD? Well, you're not alone. Say goodbye to the hassle and say hello to Saitek's cordless PS2 DVD remote control.

Extra PS2 Pleasure 90
Details Needless to say, I became tired of having to use the PS2 controller to operate my CD's\DVD's. Pull out the game, unwind the cord, go grab a chair, sit within cords reach, yada yada yada! With Saitek's cordless DVD remote control, I no longer need to fuss with the game controller. All the DVD functions come on a hand held, easy to use remote control much like your TV\VCR remote. The infrared receiver plugs into your PS2 game port and your controller plugs into it. Yup, your swappin days is over!

Plug it in and go! If your familiar with any DVD remote controller then your off and running. If you've never operated a DVD or it's remote, then Saitek's instructional booklet will become your new best friend. It covers all key functions in a very easy to read and understandable format.

Key Features Convenience! For me, the best feature was the ability to keep all three devices plugged in at the same time. Remote functionality was very easy to become comfortable with, as a matter of fact, I read the instructions only to see if there was anything I missed! You really don't even need em. Also, I noticed no play degradation upon having it plugged in and gaming as opposed to not having it plugged in and gaming. Therefore, there is no reason for you Playstation 2 owners out there to NOT have one!

Price $19.99 retail. A mere two bucks more than the competition. However, the one glaring difference is that the competition doesn't come with the port in a port option. You have to swap cords each time you switch between games and DVD's --aak.

If you think spending twenty bucks is a bit too much for this handy lil' remote, then go ahead and continue to use your controller. It will only be a matter of time before the frustration ignites a fire under your arse to get you to drive to your local retailer and buy one of these! GO GET ONE! --seriously, you'll be glad you did.
