Family:  Married to Gladys since 1960.  Two sons, Randy and Russ.

Occupation:  Owner, Wayne Parker's Auto Electric.

Racing Experience:  Has always been into fast rides.  In high school, saw a Popular Mechanics magazine article on go-karts, so he built one with a McCullough 2-cylinder 2-man chain saw engine that made 20 horsepower.  From there he moved to cars, and while in the Air Force in New Mexico started bracket racing.  After establishing the family business, started racing 100-yard sand drags.  He won many events with his feared series of Chevrolet Blazers known as "Blazermania".  Since 1990 he has been the steady force behind our Federal Mogul Funny Car, performing much of the maintenance required on the car.

Wayne has always been proud to have a family business and racing team.  The satisfaction of seeing his boys develop into respected funny car drivers has been very rewarding.  He hopes to see it continue to grow into bigger and better things.  He also has his goal in racing, to consistently have the best looking, best running hot rod out there.
