History and Background
- Parker Racing consists of Wayne, Gladys and Russ Parker.
- Together they run Wayne Parker's Auto Electric established in 1969 and located in Salem, OR.
- The Parker family has been racing at various levels since 1964 with every family member having driven in competition events.
- Began racing in Top Alcohol Funny Car in 1990.
- Joined with the Dairy Farmers of Oregon in 1991.
- In 1995 Randy won the Seattle national event and one divisional race. Finished 2nd in NHRA's Division 6 points standings.
- 1998 Ran 2 funny cars, with Randy and Russ driving. Had 1 division win and 2 runner-ups.
- 1999 Russ qualified career best #2 at Winternationals with a 5.741 ET @ 246 mph.
